Hey — it's Rames
Just arrived in Tarifa, after a 10-hour drive through Morocco. Although a bit sad to have left our nice home, warm weather and perfect waves, we're really happy to have landed in our new spot. It's 15-min outside of Tarifa, a bit in the mountains, green everywhere around us, and our neighborhood is filled with horses, cows, pigs, and sheep.
The only drawback is the cold — it's not "that" cold, but our home is. We need some time to adapt after 6 months of perfect weather 😅
Nonetheless, super excited to go hiking, visit the beautiful surroundings and spend more time in nature 🌳
3 Tips
1/ Notion Home & "My Tasks"
I wasn't expecting this feature, but Notion just released "Home" — a new page that lets you access your most important things ✨
Home lets you access:
- Your recently visited pages
- All your assigned tasks
- Suggested & trending pages
They're slowly rolling out the feature, so you might not have it yet on your workspace. Check your sidebar; it should appear right between "Search" & "Inbox".
How to set up “My tasks”
This feature is a game-changer for agencies, studios, freelancers — anyone who works with multiple clients. You can now use different Tasks databases in your client portals, and centralize them all into a unique, consolidated view, that is "My Tasks" from Home.
2/ Hide weekends in Notion calendar view
3/ All select options to gray
**for the minimalists**
2 Resources
1/ Flylighter — Save EVERYTHING to Notion
I'm sure you know Thomas Frank. He's a self-help/productivity YouTuber turned Notion expert, creating some of the most downloaded templates in the world. He's heavily invested in the Notion community, so much so that he decided to build better software for capturing everything on the internet and saving it to Notion.
Remember Notion Web Clipper? Really nice, huh?
And Save to Notion? Loved that app because it was more powerful?
Well, Flylighter is going to be EVEN better. That's the promise.
I'll let you watch the short video above — I was AMAZED by the features, and I'm sure you're going to be too 😉

2/ Notion for Business
Another great video, from another respected member of the Notion community and a fellow certified consultant. This one is quite lengthy, but the reward is a super helpful framework for building a “Company OS” that's sustainable and well-structured.
The 7 key concepts from the video:
- “Domains” database
- Effective Teamspaces
- Global Data / CompanyOS
- Scalable Permissions
- A Fitting Plan
- Standardized UI/UX
- Notion Field Guide
